Apply to the Corbett Guardian Scholars Program

Follow the steps below to complete your Corbett Guardian Scholars Application:

 Step 1: Complete the application to the University. 
 Step 2: Complete the Corbett Guardian Scholars Application after receiving a University admission. 
 Step 3: Complete the Guardian Scholars Needs Assessment. 
 Step 4: Schedule Welcome/Intake Appointment.
 Step 5: Register for Guardian Scholars New Student Orientation.

To be eligible for the Guardian Scholars program, a student must:

  • Complete the °µÍøTV Guardian Scholars Application
  • Be currently enrolled at °µÍøTV
  • Be current or former foster youth
  • Be able to submit Foster Youth Verification Documentation (FYVD)

Once enrolled in the program, a Guardian Scholars student must:

  • Meet with Guardian Scholars Resource Coordinator at least twice per semester.
  • Meet with Guardian Scholars Academic Counselor at least twice per semester
  • Meet with EOP Financial Aid Counselor at least once per semester
  • Participate in 2 Guardian Scholars Professional Development Workshops
  • Participate in 2 Guardian Scholars Gatherings
  • Participate in at least 1 Guardian Scholars Engagement Activities
