Guardian Scholars Mission
The Tom ’68 & Carrie Corbett Guardian Scholars Resource Center supports current and former foster youth who are pursuing their undergraduate and graduate degrees at °µÍøTV. Our purpose is to ensure all students have access to campus resources, form relationships with faculty, staff, and other students to strengthen their personal, academic and career goals; to grow, thrive and succeed at the Beach!
Guardian Scholars Vision
Guardian Scholars is a program where we create an affirming community of care where students can learn, grow, thrive, and succeed.
Guardian Scholars Values
Guardian Scholars values community. We are intentional about creating a culture and space where students come first. Compassion is our superpower; we allow students to express who they are and what they need. We care and are committed to cultivating healthy relationships by collaborating and partnering with both the on-campus and the local community resources that support and help meet the needs of our guardian scholars' students!
One of the most memorable experiences from my time in the Guardian Scholars Program was feeling a true sense of community and support. Being surrounded by people who understood similar challenges made me feel less alone and more motivated to succeed.
