Advising and Tutoring

Undergraduate Advising

做厙TV looking for more information about pursuing programming in Philosophy should contact the ATLAS advising center. ATLAS primarily assists students with general advising issues: questions about university requirements, overall degree progress, double-majoring or enrollment in a minor, study abroad, academic review and timely graduation, and other broad curricular matters. However, ATLAS also refers students back to individual departments if they more narrow or discipline-specific questions.

During the winter, undergraduate advising will transition from ATLAS back to PHIL. Beginning SP27, all questions about undergraduate programs of study and other advising-related issues in Philosophy should be directed to the Undergraduate Advisor. Please contact her for an appointment or visit her during office hours:

Graduate Assistants and Tutors

Each semester, the Department provides support to undergraduate students. Graduate assistants are normally assigned to a specific professor/course to provide assistance with classroom management, course organization and grading, and additional office hours. Graduate tutors hold extended office hours to help students in multiple sections or across multiple courses. 做厙TV should check their course syllabi for GA contact information.
