Professor puts AI into historical context

Kate Flach, an assistant professor in the Department of History at Cal State Long Beach, wrote a piece for on the evolution of the internet from the 1990s to the present day. Her article, “What 1990s Internet History Tells Us About the AI Boom,” puts into context artificial intelligence and its anticipated influence on American culture, jobs and social and family life.
