You never know what lurks in the shadows, so protecting your data and documents is always top of mind.  Consider these , and most other equivalent document storage apps.

  • Use “People you specifyâ€ instead of “Anyone with the link.â€
  • Set expiration dates and disable editing unless needed.
  • Review shared files regularly and remove outdated access.
  • Never share sensitive data without proper controls.

Secure Use of Campus Apps via SSO

  • When in doubt about emailed links, access the same services by accessing them via your page.
  • Use (not SMS or email) for MFA.
  • Don’t approve unexpected MFA prompts.
  • Log out when done, especially on shared devices, like lab computers.

Reporting

  • If you suspect your account is compromised, report it immediately to alert@csulb.edu
  • Use the to report phishing and junk mail.

Quick reporting helps protect you and the entire campus community.
